Road Jam'arita - beer margaritas made with Road Jam

Road Jam by Two Roads Brewing is my favorite summer beer this year.  Road Jam is a wheat beer made with fresh raspberries and blackberries. It crisp and somewhat sour; almost lambic-esque. It is a light and refreshing beer; perfect for the hot days of summer.

I decided to try to incorporate my favorite summer beer with my favorite summer cocktails. Besides a chilly brew, what's better than an ice cold margarita on a hot summer day? I made two different versions of margaritas using Road Jam. Although they were both quite different, they were also quite good.

Delish!!

Road Jam'arita

This is my take of the Beer Margarita posted all over the Internet. Tequila makes it potent, Road Jam makes it rock!

I garnish the rim with kosher salt and a lemon wedge. The lemon compliments the lemongrass in the beer quite nicely.

This recipe makes a frothy pink margarita that is out of this world.

1 (12 Fluid Ounce) Can Frozen Limeade Concentrate
12-Oz Ounces Tequila
12-Oz Road Jam
2 Cups Crushed Ice

Lemon Wedges For Garnish

Empty the container of  frozen limeade into a blender. Pour in the beer, tequila, and ice. Blend on high for about 30 seconds.  Serve over ice in salt rimmed margaritas glass and a lemon wedges.

Frozen Road Jam'arita

Hubby likes frozen margaritas. The easiest and best way I know to make a quick frozen margarita is to use TGI Friday's bottled premixed margaritas.

My twist is to substitute some the of mix with Road Jam. And extra tequila for a little extra kick.

I garnish the rim with kosher salt and a lemon wedge. The lemon compliments the lemongrass in the beer quite nicely.

This is a seriously jammin' margarita.

6-oz T.G.I. Friday's Margaritas
6-Oz Road Jam
2-Oz Ounces Tequila
4 Cups Crushed Ice

Lemon Wedges For Garnish

Pour all of the ingredients into a blender. Blend on high for about 30 seconds.  Serve over ice in salt rimmed margaritas glass and a lemon wedges.
