Namaste

I never need an excuse to drink a Dogfish Head beer. They do not disappoint!

So, it was a no brainer to add a bottle to the selection of beers I packed for our annual fall camping trip.

Namaste was a perfect choice. It was as clean and crisp as the brisk autumn air.

Namaste (5% ABV) is a very sessionable witbier brewed with coriander, orange, and lemongrass.

It pours a bubbly straw color with a big airy head.

The ingredients are nicely expressed in the aroma - a touch of lemon, a hint of orange and spice.

The flavor is not exceptional bold. It's gentle and lovely. There is nice sparkling wine like quality to it and a chardonnay-ish taste. The citrus stands out among the flavors of the yeast and spice. The finish is dry and crisp.

The mouth feel is light and effervescent. Delightful!

The flavor  and body of Namaste is different from other witbiers I've had that tend to be a little heavier and more densely flavorful. Namaste is light and refreshing and wonderful.

Overall: excellent.
